Pragna Patel on the Gorgon Posse Pod
And where to get you some FiLiA tix!!

This conversation was an entire honor. My word, y'all. I interviewed Pragna Patel for the FiLiA2025 keepsake book (with interviews and articles by nearly all the speakers!). That had to be quite short, and our conversation was not, so I asked her if I could share.

Join the feminists at FiLiA2025 for the 10th anniversary conference in Brighton, UK, 1-12 October 2025.

Her bio for those new to knowing her:
Pragna Patel is a founding member of Southall Black Sisters’ advocacy and campaigning centre and Women Against Fundamentalism. She worked as a co-ordinator and senior case worker for SBS from 1982 to 1993 when she left to train and practice as a solicitor. In 2009 she returned to SBS as its Director. She has been centrally involved in some of SBS’ most important cases and campaigns around domestic violence, immigration and religious fundamentalism. She has also written extensively on race, gender and religion. She has since founded and still leads Project Resist.
You. A feminist you know. A feminist organization or community. A feminist blog or pod. Let's build coalition!
