We'll Be Right Back

Dear Sisters & Readers,

We (by which I mean mostly, I) have been keeping up with lovely submissions and political urgencies since this project began. I need a little chill-out time.

We're in hiatus for the next few weeks, so you will see archival posts by brave women contributors from around the world. All free and open to everyone. Share, share, share! These writers deserve attention. Check for them on Tuesdays,

You'll also see the first several installments of a powerful essay responding to the inside-out logics of postfeminism. Therese Doherty is back, thinking as elegantly as always. (And no, I didn't accept this essay because she quotes from TRN and from me, specifically. It's just fucking great!) Check for these on Thursdays (so you have the weekend to read if you like).

While we're on hiatus, I'll be taking my mother to see her family in the Old Country. She's in her 80s and still strong, so I want to be sure we all enjoy each other again before she begins to slow down (if that's even possible for her!). She immigrated to the US when she was 4, after WW2. We've been blessed to still have our family connections and enjoy them.

And then, Mamma, Hubs, and I are all headed to FiLiA2025 in Brighton. Have a thought for my mother. She will be confronted with more women's suffering and activism than she's ever seen her life. It will be a lot to process. Husband person is better prepared, a real ally and supporter.

If you're at FiLiA, find me. Someone at the TRN stall will know where I'm at or how to reach me. I know some of us (Dancing Goddess, Total Woman Victory, who else?) need to put our heads together and see what's what 😃

These authors and artists deserve another look. Enjoy this little revisitation.
