Well, I’ve had a birthday, a miserable cold, and political earthquake. I’m doing this weeks post as video anyway, because I want you to see me when I say all this. A whole bunch or really shitty people got what they have coming, and there will be more. I imagine Jack Smith’s new law firm is going to be in demand. I am very sure that Elon’s comical-criminal overreach will be curtailed.

Meanwhile. Other than Sen Cruz, the Texas leadership has flipped blue, and female. This is huge. Historic. Wondrous. AND, something like 4000 people have been disappeared in Texas in the last two weeks alone. As I was driving by a bunch of media this morning, I caught an ABC - Australia interview with a priest in south Texas saying that immigrant and citizen moms have lost their husbands and primary breadwinners. The terror and heart break of this is feminist business. It is the US’s business to put these families back together.
North Carolina got MAGAmandered to create an 11/3 ratio, and Dems could take 10 of 14 seats instead. That is mindblowing levels of MAGA failure.
The MAGA trans-hate campaign didn’t work this time. Some remembered they’re not phobic racist assholes and they don’t want to be lumped in.
We do actually need these normally feckless Dems to kick ass. We need them to commit. We need them to treat the MAGA party like the traitors to the constitution that they have been. Because this is how dual power works. It’s not easy, but it is way easier to build alternative systems in a liberal than in a fascist environment. Right now, ICE, those terrorists with slapdash federal branding, is doing the old FBIs work with fewer legal restraints. This is not good for feminists. Get ICE off the board, prosecute the traitors, and push into a social system that actually invests in our people, also as these young Dems want to do, and that’s a world in which we – remember, we are pirates, insurgents, dangerous imagineers to the patriarchal status quo – in which we can build alternatives with less friction and fear. Because trust me, these MAGA are going to scratch and snarl and threaten and harm all the way down.

Much more fear and suffering is coming. It’s as hard to celebrate and be ruthless as it is to mourn and be ruthless. But these Dems, that Speaker Jefferies, have to be goaded to be ruthless. It’s only treason if you lose, and they lost. They shattered the constitution and what was left of a crap social contract, and some of them have crossed the treason line. If that’s let to slide we will lose the future still. Our sisters in already authoritarian systems and our sisters in those sliding into it will be further plunged into the violent delights of the worst men because fascism, authoritarianism, these are nothing but the crystallization of patriarchy's many facets. Whether the Muslim Brotherhood, or the Dominionist Christian Nationalists or the nihilist mafia that is United Russia, they are traitors to life itself.
