Medium-term disruptions from climate breakdown or (in my case) Trump-fallout, civil unrest can occur pretty quickly. In some circumstances, sabotage is not beyond imagination. MR is absolutely not trying to frighten our people. We are trying to look the moment squarely in the eye.

Free people are inventive, exploratory, risk takers. We don’t shut down options, we don’t limit people’s ability to contribute, and we definitely do not off-shoulder our life-making and decision-taking to any Dear Leader, Chairman, or Duce.
