Now, on to the post.

WE BUILD OUR WORLD OR LIVE IN THE ONE MEN BUILT TO HOLD US

The thing about a FEMINIST resistance is that it can take us beyond the conditions that got us here. Simply re-instating those conditions is not the way.

The aims of Binding Chaos/#3E and Medusa Rising harmonize deeply, hence my on-going references to Heather Marsh.

Yeah, look, the Regime Update is that Red States are deploying their National Guard to their Blue Cities to "control crime" or whatever. The Guard in DC are now carrying both long guns and side arms while they ... clean the parks once cleaned by federally employed park service.

Fash regimes all wind up trapped by their own sadistic drive to power. Neither the regime nor its members are redeemable. They've just been slowed from deporting 600 unaccompanied children to Guatemala. The depravity is galactic. When they do fall, they won't have access to wealth, power, protection like they do now. They're trapped. The Regime, their cronies, and hangers-on, all of MAGA really.

Like all Fash, they know if they don't stay in power they are fucked. So they will get worse, and then worse again.

Too many crimes/HRVs have already been committed. They're hoping to kick off a war, not have an election, and then win forever.

This cannot happen.

Here's a quick introduction to women in resistance movements across Africa.

Women in the decolonisation of Africa - Wikipedia

Two contemporary examples in Sudan and Liberia (these are summaries from a Google search):

Sudan (2019 Revolution):
During Sudan's revolution, women were at the forefront of street protests, leading chants for freedom, dignity, and justice. The image of activist Alaa Salah, dressed in a traditional white toub while leading chants, became an icon of the movement.
Women's organizations, such as the "No to Women's Oppression" initiative, had been organizing resistance for years in response to the former regime's repressive policies, including discriminatory dress codes.
Liberia (2000s):
Leymah Gbowee led the Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace, a coalition of Christian and Muslim women that used nonviolent tactics to protest against the country's civil wars. Their activism, including sex strikes and public demonstrations, helped bring about a peace agreement and led to the election of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Africa's first female president.
