Meet Us
Supporting women in resistance and increasing women's thriving requires both political and cultural work. Medusa Rising feel that welcome, joy, and deep witness are essential to this world building.
All our media & growing ecosystem of global feminisms.
Medusa Rising is a small, international team of women committed to the RadMatFem framework reinforced by many threads of the long feminist tradition. We see combinations of authoritarianism and woman-hating on the increase in conservative and progressive movements around the world. We create and support international and intergenerational feminist work responding to these developing threats in the radical materialist feminist tradition developed by THE RADICAL NOTION Collective.
Meet the Gorgons

Esmee was a contributing editor at THE RADICAL NOTION, where she started the RE: Framing Radical Feminism series and edited the women's poetry anthology The Body Cannot Be Cancelled. She is based too, too near Washington, DC.

Harpy — (bio TBA)
Kimble — Kimble s a front-line feminist working with rape survivors as psychotherapist for the last 11 years. She’s most interested in Care Ethics/Ethics of Care as a social theory, a practical approach to living, and a narrative framework for a better world. Once a student of philosophy, Kimble has explored languages and countries formulating how she wanted to be a woman. For her own children and others, she wants to show how the inevitability of change can be guided toward mutual well-being.
Everyone on the team reviews, edits, and produces work here. Everyone consults on our movement building work. Everyone hosts the podcasts. Everyone gives energy to our outreach efforts. Listed areas are only concentrations, never limitations. We are all the vision and voice, all the admin and the support staff.
